Insights has amalgamated its successful Vancouver and Calgary businesses to create a single Insights organisation in western Canada.
The new business combines the experience and strengths from two dynamic teams to support the expanding market in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and clients across Canada.
Insights Learning and Development Chief Executive Andy Lothian said:
Our global business is growing rapidly to provide our customers with great products and services, and we’ll ensure a seamless transition for everyone involved by nurturing existing relationships and maintaining offices in both Vancouver and Calgary.
The integration and management of Insights’ Vancouver and Calgary businesses is being led by Insights Calgary managing partners Leslie Cole and Helen Morley. The new company was legally registered and officially launched yesterday (Sunday 1 November).
Leslie said:
By amalgamating our resources to create one collaborative organisation, we’ll enhance the breadth and depth of knowledge and experience within our team and continue to improve our service for our customers.
Andy added:
Throughout this transition period, we’ll continue to partner with our people and our customers and provide immediately impactful learning solutions.
The decision to amalgamate the Vancouver and Calgary business came after the Insights Vancouver partners retired earlier this year. The purchase of the Vancouver office was concluded in late July and the two businesses legally became known as Insights Learning and Development (Canada West) Ltd. yesterday (Sunday 1 November).
Insights currently employs more than 270 people globally and has an annual group revenue of c.£28M and brand revenue of c.£37M. The company has ambitious growth plans and a strategy to double the size of both group and brand revenue by 2018.
